Here’s a headline I never thought I’d be writing. Chrysler actually sold more retail vehicles than Ford in June. Talk about a David and Goliath story.
Hath Hell frozen over?
Well, let’s dig a bit deeper. Ford has limited supplies of the hot new F-150 and Chrysler is spending almost $800 more per vehicle in incentives. So there’s that.
But damn…that’s still actual people buying more Chrysler than Fords and that’s something that’s impressive for the scrappy little mixed breed Italian-American manufacturer.
This will most likely be a one-time affair as Ford builds its inventory of F-150s over the coming months.
